LaDonna Carlton, is a professional photographer, a trial consultant and is currently studying nutrition.
LaDonna Carlton, M.S. is a professional photographer with over 25 years of experience. She studied photography in college (eight years of darkroom work exclusively in black and white and worked with color film). Ms. Carlton has been involved with digital photography for the past ten years and continues to study with other professional photographers including workshops with the Arizona Highways—Navajo Lands in Northern Arizona and National Geographic—San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and Guatemala. She has won contest recognition and is published.
Ms. Carlton has been on two medical missions with the Global Medical Foundation—Arad, Romania (2003) and Cartagena, Colombia (2006) and on one mission where GMF partnered with Our Chance International to Accra, Ghana (2008). In addition to using her photos to document these three missions, she obtained products from the Chicago Bulls and wrote an article for the Chicago Bulls Magazine (October 2008) about the trip to Ghana demonstrating how the products they supplied, not only put a smile on the faces of the people we met, but they served to improve their lives.
Ms. Carlton holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Sociology from Illinois State University, Normal, IL. She has been involved with jury trials for over twenty-five years and is considered a founder in the field of Trial Consulting. In 2007 Ms. Carlton was honored by Illinois State University by being inducted in the Hall of Fame for helping to establish the industry of jury consulting and litigation research. She also directs and produces day-in-the-life films of individuals who have been catastrophically injured for settlement and trials, plus she provides still photography for civil trial preparation and court room use.
Ms. Carlton has been studying and reading about nutrition for many years and is currently enrolled in Clayton College, an online school that specializes in holistic nutrition. Her goal is to learn more about the physiological effects of food on the body and teach others about the importance of eating healthy, non-processed foods.
